Workshop Description:

This workshop offers techniques for kick-starting any writing practice - from fiction to personal essays, criticism to journalism, even poetry and play-writing - and where to go from there. In short, how to overcome resistance, perfectionism and fear and get words onto the blank page. Then, how to create a compelling narrative with the bones of what you've got —the conflict, action, and resolution at the heart of all good storytelling. No sweat (well, some sweat, but worth it). Come ready to write.
