During this workshop, you’ll learn how to conduct research to aid your fiction and non-fiction projects, from the nuts and bolts of how to actually search for information to effective note-taking, and how to avoid plagiarism. Starting any kind of research endeavor can easily lead one down the rabbit hole, but this workshop will provide tips and techniques that will help you stay focused, budget your time, and know when it’s time to conclude your research and get to writing.

Instructor Bio:

Shweta Jha is the writer of All Hail the Queen, a visual biography of twenty female monarchs. A writer and freelance journalist, her work has been featured in the New York Post and the Los Angeles Times, among others. Shweta received her master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is currently working on her first novel.
